Arcade.dev LLM tools for Customer.io
0.1.0Customer.io is a customer messaging platform; this Arcade toolkit lets LLM agents read and write Customer.io workspace data — profiles, events, campaigns, segments, and transactional/broadcast messaging — using the Customer.io App and Tracking APIs.
Capabilities
- People management: Look up, create, update, delete, and search person profiles; view their activity history, message history, and segment memberships.
- Segment operations: List all workspace segments, inspect segment membership, and search people by segment and/or attribute.
- Campaign & newsletter analytics: Retrieve aggregate delivery metrics for campaigns and newsletters; list all campaigns and newsletters in the workspace.
- Transactional & broadcast messaging: List transactional templates, send transactional emails by template ID, list broadcasts, and trigger API broadcasts to segments or explicit recipient lists.
- Event tracking: Record named custom events on a person's timeline to drive lifecycle journeys.
Secrets
This toolkit requires no OAuth flow; all authentication is handled via secrets passed directly to the tools.

CUSTOMERIO_APP_API_KEY— A Customer.io App API key, used to authenticate calls to the App API (profile lookups, campaign metrics, segment queries, etc.). Generate one in the Customer.io dashboard under Settings → API Credentials → App API Keys. The key requires access scoped to the operations you intend to perform (read and/or write). -
CUSTOMERIO_TRACKING_API_KEY— A Customer.io Tracking API key, paired with your Site ID, used to authenticate calls to the Track API (identify/create people, record events). Found in the Customer.io dashboard under Settings → API Credentials → Tracking API Keys. -
CUSTOMERIO_SITE_ID— Your workspace's Site ID, required alongside the Tracking API key for Track API authentication. Located in the Customer.io dashboard under Settings → API Credentials. -
CUSTOMERIO_REGION— The data region your Customer.io workspace is hosted in (usoreu). This determines which API base URLs the toolkit targets. Find your region in the Customer.io dashboard under Settings → Account Settings.
